Sports for All
Disability does not mean inability.
Passion, teamwork, confidence and joy
Sports are not just about medals or trophies. For visually impaired people, sport is a powerful way to break barriers, build self-esteem and feel a sense of freedom and achievement.
Players take part in cricket, football, judo, athletics, chess and goalball, a sport made for the blind. With a few adaptations, these sports are accessible, competitive and just as exciting.
Sports adapted for every player
Blind cricket
The ball is filled with bearings that make a sound, so players can hear it move.
Goalball
A Paralympic sport. The ball has bells inside, and players use sound and touch to block goals.
Track & field
Guide runners run alongside athletes, joined by a tether, for coordination and safety.
